Meet the Corvallis Team from the Hatfield Futures Project!
Names: Calla Shaff, Dora Boucher, Emma Buzzard, Lucia Williams
Topic: Future of Adolescent Mental Health
Why is participating in The Hatfield Futures Project a priority for you?
- Calla: The Hatfield Futures Project is a priority for me because it aligns with my goal in life. I want to be able to help others and do something in the world that impacts it, even if it is in a small way.
- Dora: Participating in The Hatfield Futures Project is a priority for me because it aligns with my commitment to serving others, educating those around me, and shaping the future that my peers and I will experience.
- Emma: Participating in The Hatfield Futures Project is a priority for me because I would like to make a change in my community. The world is dealing with so many unresolved social, economic, and environmental issues and clearly what the world has been doing isn’t helping these issues because they have become worse.
- Lucia: I believe participating in The Hatfield Futures Project is a crucial gateway for me and other young students to collaborate and better understand what it takes to provide a healthier future for generations to come. Although my peers and I did not create the crises we struggle with today, we are living through them, and I see it as our responsibility to fight for our future, and the future of those around us.
